Special Services Department
Search for Children with Disabilities is underway

Joseph Badger School is interested in meeting the needs of children with disabilities and is participating in an effort to identify, locate, and evaluate all children in the community from birth through twenty-one years of age who may have disabilities.

Disabilities may include such conditions as hearing impairments, visual impairments, speech or language impairments, specific learning disabilities, emotional disturbances, autism, and traumatic brain injuries.  Many unidentified children with disabilities are preschoolers.  Parents may not be aware their child has a disability or that there are programs and services available.

If you have or know of a child who may have a disability, please contact Dr. Mary Jefferson-Gough at 330-876-2860 for more information.  All information collected will be held in strict confidence and released to others only with parent permission or as allowed by law.  The school district’s policies and procedures for special education are also available for review by contacting Dr. Mary Jefferson-Gough.
