College Credit Plus
-
-
- Ohio’s new College Credit Plus can help you earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking college courses from community colleges or universities. The purpose of this program is to promote rigorous academic pursuits and to provide a wide variety of options to college-ready students. You must apply and be accepted by a university. It is a most rigorous program intended for those who are dedicated to taking real college courses while you are still enrolled at Badger.

Credit Flexibility
Credit Flexibility applies to any alternative coursework, assessment and or performance. If a student is using Credit Flexibility to receive equivalent graduation credit, they must apply for and receive approval from the school district in advance. Approved credit awarded through this policy will be posted on the student’s transcript and count towards a student’s grade point average (GPA), class rank and as graduation credit in the related subject areas or as an elective. The school district will include details of the Credit Flexibility policy and program on the district website and in Student Responsibilities and Rights Handbook. Badger High School has a history of supporting various student-learning plans. Credit Flexibility simply formalizes this long-standing belief into a process that is supported by ODE.

Dear students and parents/guardians:
Badger High School is proud to announce a creative, new way to obtain high school credit for physical education using a concept called credit flexibility. Your son/daughter will be assigned a semester to complete the requirements for physical education. Please remember that nearly all of the hours for the course must be completed outside of the school day. A grade will be assigned each marking period and final grade at the end will be computed into GPA.
More information will be coming soon!
**Please note that currently the NCAA does not accept Credit Flexibility credit for Division I athletes. Please refer to the NCAA Clearinghouse for a complete list of their rules.
